Was a few years ago now that I first discovered the Kitewaho Track and planted a cache at one end of it .
It is a fairly basic track...not too well maintained sadly .
I always planned to put another one here , and today is the day. It is at the other end of the track from my first one .
The track is a little muddy in winter ,,,but nothing major! Would be nice for dogs or kids to walk through...
The track doesn't show up on all maps,,,One end is at the end of the road...the other is partway down the road .
Both have signs .
First time here I wondered why so many of the punga trees are topless .
Any ideas ? I never found out ...A tree disease ?
The cache is tucked into a "cave " at base of a " headless' one .
