Geocache Description:

Budd Lake is a 175-acre lake in Clare County, in the central region of Michigan's lower peninsula. Wilson State Park, a 36-acre wooded area with 160 campsites, borders the lake to the northwest with a sandy beach. In the early 1900s century, several lumber mills operated on the Budd Lake shoreline, and a lumber company that operated in the late 1800s donated Wilson State Park to Michigan.

This cache is located off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area. Please note there are some roots on the trails.  Keep in mind during hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area. Hunting is allowed from September 15 until April 1st each year.
