Lake George is located about 55 miles northwest of Clare.
The area is mostly wooded land with a variety of wildlife, including white-tail deer, wild turkey, pheasant, and other game animals.
Fishing is very popular in the area with numerous lakes containing largemouth bass, perch, bluegill, sunfish, pike, musky, catfish, and rock bass.
This cache is located off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area. Please note there are some roots on the trails. Keep in mind during hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area. Hunting is allowed from September 15 until April 1st each year.
