Hollywood Road is one of the most interesting local attraction you can enjoy the old Hong Kong atmosphere filled with trinket and antique shops of all sorts. This area has also developed into a contemporary art district which you can visit some cool private gallery & enjoying the interesting street arts along the road.
One kilometer in length, Hollywood Road was put up early in 1844, before the more famous Hollywood in California was settled. It was the second road to be built when the colony of Hong Kong was founded, after Queen's Road Central. It was the first to be completed. Like most major roads in the early years of the colony, Hollywood Road was built by the Royal Engineers. More than 100 years ago, Hollywood Road was rather close to the coastline. In those days, foreign merchants and sailors would put up the antiques and artifacts they "collected" from China for sale here on their way back to Europe. This is how Hollywood Road began its role as an antique market.

Hollywood Road Park
A Chinese style garden. This is the origin site of "Possession Point" where Brithsh navy landed in 1841 and began 150 years of colonial rule.
Man Mo Temple
A temple for the worship of the civil or literature god and martial god. It was built in 1847.
PMQ
The former old Hollywood Road Police Married Quarters is now re-poened as a mixed-use venue for arts and design.
Kung Lee Herbal Tea Shop
An old-school shops remaining in the area that sells herbal tea and sugar cane juice.
Tai Kwun
Includes three declared monuments in a single site, which allows visitors to discover the heritage through the exhibitions and public programmes offerings all year round.
