This is a trail of five caches around the Barhill Plantation in Dalbeattie. There are many footpaths through the woods, both gravel tracks and dirt tracks and all the caches are located near a path. Warning; some of the paths can get muddy at times. Go quietly and you may get to see some wildlife. There are red squirrels in the woods, but you may also get a few surprises! Tweezers and a pen are essentials and please replace carefully! GPS signal can be difficult in the woods so we have tried to give good hints to help.
