This adventure caching series is designed for exploring and hiking the hills and historic places in Tawaranda. Roadways do exist but it is highly recommended that you walk due to debris and road conditions. An entire loop can be completed within 90 minutes as an exercise route walking or jogging. Allow extra time for exploring the ruins and extensive batteries. Be aware of your surroundings as wild boar, venomous snakes and other hazards are in the area. Walking or driving this route is at your own risk! Know your limits!
This cache is to help encourage you on your way. Tawaragauracho has many interesting historic areas tucked away in these hills. This portion is for foot traffic only. Be sure to look for other geocaches hidden along the way. You will learn some great history of the area on your adventure. We never get tired of exploring and walking the paths and old roads here.
