This adventure caching series is designed for exploring and hiking the hills and historic places in Tawaranda. Roadways do exist but it is highly recommended that you walk due to debris and road conditions. An entire loop can be completed within 90 minutes as an exercise route walking or jogging. Allow extra time for exploring the ruins and extensive batteries. Be aware of your surroundings as wild boar, venomous snakes and other hazards are in the area. Walking or driving this route is at your own risk! Know your limits!
If hiking up from this side of town, you have just walked up the steep climb. Turning right, continue your climb through shade taking your time to the top. This cache was placed to give a little incentive on your loop hike. Enjoy the history of the area while finding geocaches along the way.
