Geocache Description:

The seventh in our Trash to Cache series is one of my favorites in terms of its simplicity and perfectly-coordinated pieces. The body of the container is a section of PVC pipe we found near a construction site. One end of the pipe is sealed up with some kind of end cap (perhaps from a bicycle handlebar) that we found on the Alameda Creek trail that snapped exactly into place on the tube as if it was made for it. The other end is stoppered up with a rubber cork.

The cache is located in one of the islands of greenery in the landscape that are protected from the lawn mower by a tree or bush. When replacing the cache, make sure it is well within that protected area.

The location is accessible from the Quarry Lakes parking area (may require an entrance fee) or from the numerous trails that lead to it, including the Isherwood Staging Area (free to park).
