**It is once again HUNTING SEASON! Check local guidelines before looking for the cache.**

Driving down the super highways on a long-overdue escape from Central Jersey last month, I found myself awestruck by the unbelievably beauty that exists in the rest of the country. It's hit me before at caches where I've only been a passenger, like the first time I saw the plains in Kansas or looking at smokestacks that a friend and I had seen from the top of Mount Tammany come closer and closer on our way home, but I've never felt anything like careening down I-81 at sunset with the mountains surrounding me on either side and painting the sky in all kinds of colors I'd never seen before. There were small moments, too — the many links of railroad track as I nestled underneath a retired caboose for a cache in Gretna or finally visiting the "promised land" of GC21 after years of planning out my Jasmer caches — but the overarching feeling, despite multiple 5+ hour driving days, was that there really is no destination that's too far when you're seeing the beauty of the earth (and getting caches on the way). It felt like I could subsist on my daily black coffee and a bag of hard rolls forever. But enough about me — it's time for you to assume N40 XX.XXX W074 5X.XXX and slide behind the wheel on this tribute cache for some of my favorite places I've been in America.

Can't solve the puzzle? Not a problem! Just have a nice afternoon getting the traditional caches on Baldpate and see if you stumble across this one — you may not be looking for it but you might find it anyway.
