Half Moon Island Park is open from sunrise to sunset. Jacksonville's newest park, opening in January 2020, Half Moon Island sits on 267 acres along the Nassau River. It offers a boat ramp, a fishing platform and picnic areas.
Starting at the posted coordinates, turn to a 0 degree bearing and follow the paved path for 270 feet until you reach an octagon. From the octagon, turn to a 320 degree bearing and proceed for 310 feet until you reach a very tall rectangle. From the base of the tall rectangle, turn back to a 0 degree heading and move forward 250 feet until you reach a chest-high cylinder. Almost there!
Put the cylindrical object to your rear and walk 10 feet into the woodline at a 270 degree bearing. You are seeking an ammo can.
