I first went geocaching when I was only 13. I was working on my Geocaching merit badge with my Boy Scout Troop. ( Our Troop hid a cache: GC4ZVJ4 "The Dirge" still active after all these years). After getting back from the campout I was hooked. I would go out every weekend looking for caches. I even went as far to go out and hide my own cache. However like most kids, I quickly bounced from one interest to the other, and geocaching was just a quick fad. I never actually submitted my cache for review, and thus it still lies hidden somewhere in the Central Florida woods. A little bit ago, I suddenly remembered all about geocaching. After a bit of research I was happy to see that the community was bigger then ever, and I was more then ready to dive head first right back into it. After finding a variety of different caches across 3 different states, I felt like it was time for me to hide my first cache (again). This cache is in honor of my orginal first cache that is still sitting out in the woods, and while no one will have ever found it, without it I wouldn't have ever rediscovered this great hobby.
The cache you are looking for is a small container hidden right before Old Field Mews. Parking is available just past the cache at the Club House. Depending on the time of day there could be a large muggle presence so use your best judgement. The cache is just past the woodline and tucked away nicely. I placed a bit of swag in there and the container is big enough for some as well. I did include a pen but it's always smart to bring your own. Please return the cache exactly as you found it.
