This cache was designed to be a night cache. if you don't know what that means, you can read up about it here. While it is possible to solve this one during daylight hours, it will be very hard to do so.
For some reason, I have waited nineteen years until I finally decided to place my first cache (mostly because I move ever so often for my vocation). I have helped people create containers and replaced many in my travels, but never put out one on my own...until now. In celebration of my 4000th find, I decided it was about time I start placing a few. I hope you enjoy the hunt for this one!
This one has a couple of puzzles you must decipher and figure out (one beforehand, one in the field).
The given coordinates is a great place to park, but you may want to avoid Sunday mornings (if you are thinking about tryting to find this during the day).
In order to get to the starting point, you must answer the following questions:
A – How many loaves of bread did Jesus have along with two fish to feed the five thousand?
B – How long had Lazarus been in the tomb before Jesus arrived and raised him from the dead?
C – How many of Jesus’ bones were broken during his crucifixion?
D – How many coins did Jesus witness the poor widow put into the treasury? Subtract two from this number
E – How many stone jars containing water did Jesus turn to wine in his first miracle at a wedding?
F – How many mediators do we have between God and humankind? Add four to this number.
G – How many churches does John write to in the Book of Revelation?
H – How many of the 10 cleansed lepers did not come back and give Jesus thanks for healing them? Subtract four from this number
I – How many days after his birth was Jesus circumcised and given his name?
J – How many times did Peter have his vision on the rooftop concerning clean and unclean food? Subtract three from this number.
The starting point is at N 34° AB.CDE' W 84° FG.HIJ'. You can check your the solution for the coordinates of the starting point at GeoChecker.com.
From the starting point, use your flashlight to find the four needed stages. You will need a bright flashlight (possibly one where you can focus the beam), especially for the first stage. You should not skip a stage because you will need to gather information at each one. Each stage is marked which one it is (1, 2, 3, or 4). Once you have acquired the information from each of the four stages, you can move on to the final, which will be in sight.
The cache is locked with a combination lock. The cache is a unique container and can be easily opened with the information you have gathered along your route. You will not need any TOTTs to open this one, just the combination to the lock. Please do not pry, force, or attempt to pull apart the cache trying to open it. Use your brain and not your brawn.
If you need help just message me.
Hope you have a great hunt! I know I have enjoyed using many of my skills to create it.
Disclaimer: permission has been secured for the geocache to be on church property.
