This cache is located at the corner of Canal Road and Carter Road in The Flats district of Downtown Cleveland.
The building that you will notice at GZ is the old passenger depot for the B&O Railroad. This building was constructed in 1896 and it served as the main boarding station for the B&O Railroad in Cleveland until 1934, when the Cleveland Union Terminal (now known as Tower City Center) was opened. After 1934, the building served as an office for B&O Railroad personnel. The parking lot behind the building is where a large train shed once stood, which is where passengers would board the trains.
I have always been fascinated by this building, so I figured that it would be a good spot for a cache! I hope that they are able to keep this building around and possibly turn it into a museum or something like that!
