Welcome to K+K's Kids' Afternoon Out!
This is our first cache placement. Parking is best on Robert Adams Drive, so that you can then walk through the Courtice Duck Pond to get to the cache.
Placed during the COVID pandemic, this cache is a perfect example of what we have liked to do during our spare time - spend time outdoors. While placing this cache, we fed ducks, saw bullfrogs and bunnies. We brought our friend Boomer along for the walk and drop - the walk through the trees is whimsical, you wouldn't know you are 'in town'. Bring something along to feed the ducks, find some space in the trees for a picnic. It is a lovely area to spend some time.
It is a popular spot among teens, so be sure to watch for muggles.
We filled the cache with a trackable, geocoin, some travel memorabilia (our favourite) and kids items like the ones we like to find while we are geocaching.
