Prva školska zgrada
Ova je kuća 1907. uređena kao prva školska zgradana otoku, a uz nju je na južnoj strani bio i školski vrt. No, školska je nastava bila organizirana znatno prije,od 1854, i to u prostorijama bratske kuće. U početku su školu pohađali samo dječaci iz bogatijih obitelji, a od 1892. uvedeno je obvezno pohađanje za svu djecu. Nakon Drugog svjetskog rata, djeca su za školskog odmora odlazila u bratsku kuću po užinu - marendu.
The first school building
Beginning in 1907 this house wias used as the first school building on the island on the south side of the building there was a schoolyard to be the garden. The first classes had been organized much earlier, 1854 in eternity house (now with library and the gallery). At first only the boys from rich families attended the school but 1892 it was obligatory for all kids to attend the school. A new regulation was introduced by which old general children were required to attend classes. After the second world war school children used to go to the house during the recess favorite food brunch - or marenda (on dalmatian dialect).
