Klenkes means "pinkie". Erecting the little finger (not the middle one) of the right hand is the traditional token of the people from Aachen, the Öcher. It reminds us of the industry of needle production which had been widespread in the region for a long time. Defective needles were sorted out from the assembly line by a typical motion of that finger. This part of the production process was called "ausklinken" - hence the word of the local dialect for that part of the body. Many Öcher having been doing this all their life developed a typical deformity and could thus be recognized by their crippled finger. Today, many decades after the decline of the local cloth and needle industries, you can still happen - let's say: in Katmandu - to spot two people greeting each other by holding up the right hand and showing their pinkie. Don't fear for their health, but you will instantly know where they come from.
If everything were as it has always been and you had happened to pass by N 50 33.356 E 006 13.053 on Saturday, 5th of September 2020, you would have found some Öcher geocachers having a good time together and celebrating themselves and their hobby by an event - the Klenkes - held yearly and having also become traditional - as it has to publish some caches on the day of the event. But in times of COVID-19, many things have changed. Due to the actual hygiene regime, the event had to be canceled. I'm really looking forward to next year, when - hopefully - we will meet again. Until then, keep caching in smaller parties. Therefore, here is my usual contribution to the event: Two unknown caches (see also GS#82 - Klenkes 2020: Aufgeschoben ist nicht ...). -
To the cache: Assign exactly each of the numbers 1-9 (n1-n9) to the above portrayed geocachers. To find the correct assignment, be aware of the additional conditions the different cache types have to fulfill depending on n being an even or uneven number.
Öcher Cacher Logical (OCL)
Ordnet jedem der Geocacher, deren Logos im Titelbild erscheinen, genau eine der Zahlen 1-9 (n1-n9) zu. Achtet dabei auf die Zusatzbedingungen, die die verschiedenen Cachetypen erfüllen müssen, je nachdem, ob es sich bei n um eine gerade oder ungerade Zahl handelt.
Es gilt für:
Ist n eine ungerade Zahl, so ist n größer als die Zahl am rechten Rand der Zeile, in der n sich befindet; ist n eine gerade Zahl, so ist sie größer als die Zahl am linken Rand dieser Zeile.
Ist n eine ungerade Zahl, so beträgt die Differenz der beiden direkten Nachbarn rechts und links von n 3; ist n eine gerade Zahl, so beträgt diese Differenz 4.
Ist n eine ungerade Zahl, so hat mindestens einer der direkten Nachbarn (rechts, links, oben oder unten, nicht diagonal) von n den Wert 5; ist n eine gerade Zahl, so hat mindestens einer dieser Nachbarn den Wert 9.
Ist n eine ungerade Zahl, so ist n kleiner als die Zahl am unteren Rand der Spalte, in der n sich befindet; ist n eine gerade Zahl, so ist sie kleiner als die Zahl am oberen Rand dieser Spalte.
Ist n eine ungerade Zahl, so ist n größer als 5; ist n eine gerade Zahl, so ist sie kleiner als 5.
Ist n eine ungerade Zahl, so sind alle direkt (nicht: diagonal) benachbarten Zahlen größer als n; ist n eine gerade Zahl, so sind alle direkt benachbarten Zahlen kleiner als n.
