Geocache Description:

Indian Point Park is one of my favorite Lake County parks.  One  of the favorite things to do for people to visit here is to walk the creek. The caches placed in this park are intended to help others with their fizzy, with some hard to find D/Ts. There will be four different icons as well hidden in this hike along Paine Creek.

Please be safe as you hunt for these caches - they are placed with permission of Lake Metro Parks. Please do not search when the water is high, and be careful when water is low as the rock are slippery.  Please do not search from November through March or when the water is extremely cold.  Be safe and Happy caching!

There is NO ACCESS in or out of creek at Paine Falls Park.  You walk from Indian Point up to the falls and back.  Allow a minimum of 6 hours to walk up and back and looking.  It is a very enjoyable hike if you pick the right time of year.

Also note that Internet connection is very poor in most of the areas and it is recommended offload to  a GPS or download off line before attempting the walk.

You are very close to Paine Falls - blocked by the turn in the creek, so just walk another 400 - 500 feet  for a great view of the falls.  Hope you enjoyed your walk up, the walk back will be a little more than an hour - enjoy that as well!
