The Challenge
This bucketlist challenge is designed to encourage new geocachers to get out and about and experience the wide variety of caches that are available. It should help cachers to work out what aspect of caching is most appealing, enjoyable and rewarding for them, and leave them with some fantastic memories of caching trips that can be recalled and exaggerated for years to come!
This bucketlist challenge requires you to:
- CLIMB - find one cache with the 'Tree climbing' attribute.
- FLOAT - find one cache with the 'Boat' attribute.
- RIDE - find one cache with the 'Bicycles' attribute.
- WALK - find one cache with the 'Significant hike' attribute.
- SHINE - find one cache with the 'Flashlight required' or 'UV light required' or 'Night Cache' attribute
- THINK- find one mystery cache with a difficulty of at least 3.
- LOVE - find one cache that has a minimum of 50 favourite points.
The Cache
The cache is located at the posted coordinates and is up the tree. GZ is a small park with a playground, exercise equipment and lots of open space. The terrain rating reflects the terrain of the cache, while the difficulty rating reflects the difficulty of the challenge. BYO pen.
WARNING: The council have erected signs warning park users of swooping birds. I did not have an issue placing the cache, however I did observe Miner birds, and magpies, each time I've been there.
The log
While not mandatory, you are encouraged to include in your log photos and descriptions of your favourite geocaching experience that contributed to completing the requirements of this challenge! You may sign a challenge cache's physical log at any time. However, the challenge cache may be logged as found online only after the log is signed and the challenge requirements have been met. A challenge checker has been provided below.
