This wonderful causeway connects us to the wonders of Hecla Island. This spot marks the old fairy dock that would have brought you back and forth before the causeway. You can still see parts of it leftover but I wouldn't go out there. It looks pretty rotten.
Our family and another family have been making Hecla our destination for a mini-vacation for several years now. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the beauty that it holds. So we decided to place another geocache out here to commemorate another visit and add to the adventure for others.
