Holmesbeook Park is one of the most scenic parks in Wadsworth. We hid one of our first two caches in this park. It has several trails that branch off of the main path. Holmesbeook meets Friedt Park at it's northern end. This cache is located near where the two parks meet. You can approach from either park. The Holmesbrook Park entrance provides a longer but flatter walk to the cache. These is a bridge to cross the creek that can be slippery so take care when crossing. GZ is part of the way up the hill between parks so there is an elevation change from either direction.

The area around the cache has some GPS bounce so some hints may help. There is a trail going up the hill to Friedt Park. The cache is on the west side of the trail. Look for a large two-trunk tree with one trunk broken off on the left side going up (or right side going down). There is now a hollow stump where one trunk used to be. Look there.
BE CAREFUL. THERE IS A DROP OFF JUST BEYOND THE CACHE.
There is no need to go down the ravine to get to the cache. Watch your footing as you approach, especially if there is mud or wet leaves. The cache is a plastic jar covered in camo tape. Please replace as found.
