Eel Brook Common Alpha Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

This cache is a standard magnetic micro cache

Eel Brook Common was turned into a public park in 1866 and handed over to the London County Council (LCC) in 1889

In 1883 and 1891 Eel Brook Common is where the Fulham Football Club (FFC) played their home games. FFC are now located at Craven Cottage in Bishops Park.

During World War II, an underground bunker was located under Eel Brook Common; this was to protect local residents during the Blitz and is the reason why the common is so flat

edit: I am aware the magnet is missing, please place it back carefully so others can still reach it.
