Summer Time - Adventure Labs Bonus

The Summer Time Adventure Lab covers some themes associated with British Summer Time, which was originally proposed by William Willett, a Chislehurst resident around the turn of the 20th century. This cache is a bonus which can be found when all of the stages of the Adventure Lab have been completed - scan or click on the QR code below to jump to the Summertime Adventure Lab.
Advancing the clocks to get longer evenings in the summer, and moving them back so that mornings are not too dark in the winter, was initially proposed by George Hudson, a New Zealand entomologist. Willett was the first person to try and introduce it. Summer Time, or Daylight Saving Time as it is also known, is only relevant to the middle latitudes, since near the equator there is little change in sunrise and sunset, and near the poles in mid-summer it is light all day.
