Vic Park Brook Boose Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

One of three caches placed around Victoria Park. Let us know if you got all three in one go :-)

This is a Victorian recreation ground laid out in the late-19th century on land previously known as 'Mrs Cook's Farm'. Barnet Football Club played here in the 1889/90 season, before moving to a new ground in 1890. It has the remains of a formal garden comprising a circular mound with a perimeter walk laid out as a rose garden. Adjacent to this is a drinking fountain with the inscription 'Honest Water which never left man in the Mire', the gift of Morgan Harvey in 1882.

More info (and a description of facilities) at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Recreation_Ground,_New_Barnet

You are on the hunt for a small, square, cache-camouflaged tupperware.

This contains a blue rubber, a clog from The Netherlands, a marble ... and a mini-'ConnectFour' for the FTF.

As you'c lose to the Brook, watch our for muddy slips.

Good luck!
