Geocache Description:

This geocache is located in the 37-acre Endean Conservation Land in Norwood  (Permission given by the Norwood Conservation Commission.)    This parcel of land includes the lovely Hawes Brook, walking trails, a Little League Field, tennis and basketball courts, and Hawes Swimming Pool, open summers (Norwood residents only).  Interestingly, near the present pool are two small circular ponds naturally fed by Hawes Brook nearby. These two ponds were the original swimming places - one for the men, and one for the women.  There are various activities in this area thoughout the year, including the annual Fishing Derby and Duck Race.

Free street parking is available all along Washington St. or in a lot near the corner of Washington St. and Short St..

The cache consists of a small black film cannister.   Please bring your own pen or pencil to sign the log.   Because it's such a small film cannister, there is a very small something for the FTF.

Please return the container exactly as you found it.  Also, please do not post any pictures that reveal the location of the cache to future cachers so that all can enjoy the thrill of discovery.   Have fun caching!
