Geocache Description:

In December 2001, a Japan Self-Defense Force aircraft discovered a suspicious ship of unknown nationality sailing in the waters southwest of Kyushu. The ship continued to flee for the next 20 hours or so, and finally sank on its own in an attempt to destroy evidence. It happened about 20 years ago, but I'm sure you all remember it vividly. This suspicious ship was pulled up and is now on display in the exhibition museum here for free.I hid the cache near this museum.

2001(平成13)年12月、九州南西海域を航行していた当時国籍不明の不審船が、自衛隊の航空機によって発見されました。不審船はその後20時間逃走を続け、最後には自沈という形で証拠隠滅を図りました。今から約20年前の出来事ですが、皆さんも鮮明に記憶に残っていることと思います。その不審船は引き上げられ、現在はこちらの展示館に無料で展示されています。キャッシュはこの展示館の近くに隠しました。
