This cache offers nice views of Nepcote, a small village next to Findon.
The historic hamlet of Nepcote is within the South Downs National Park.
From the 19th Century, the village has become renowned for its annual Sheep Fair on Nepcote Green and as a centre for racehorse training and equestrian activities.
Many thousands of sheep were penned on the green for sale in earlier times, the wooden hurdles for pens were stored in the purpose built Wattle House on the green which also included living accommodation.
This can be seen below as a main feature of the green.
