Welcome to City of Oregon's South Shore Veterans Park. This park has a picnic area, playground, ball diamond, basketball court, open space and an observation/sledding hill overlooking Lake Erie. There are also several paved, gravel or grass paths. Across Bay Shore Road is a concrete boardwalk area where you can walk along the lake shore. In 1999, the word Veterans was added to the name of the park to recognize all the Oregon men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
This cache is along the N Stadium Road Bike Path which connects this park to the Coontz Sports Complex Path and Pearson Metropark.
