DEUTSCHE BESCHREIBUNG
Der Fürstenzug ist eine der bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Dresden. Das Kunstwerk aus etwa 23.000 Porzellan-Fliesen ist mit 101,90 Metern Länge und 10,51 Metern Höhe das größte Porzellanwandbild der Welt. Der Reiterzug ist eine Ahnengalerie der zwischen 1127 und 1873 in Sachsen herrschenden 34 Markgrafen, Herzöge, Kurfürsten und Könige des Hauses Wettin. Weitere 60 Personen - Wissenschaftler, Künstler, Handwerker, Soldaten, Kinder und Bauern - sowie 45 Pferde und zwei Windhunde sind dargestellt.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
The Fürstenzug is one of the most famous sights in Dresden. The work of art, made of around 23,000 porcelain tiles, is 101.90 meters long and 10.51 meters high and the largest porcelain mural in the world. The cavalcade is an ancestral gallery of the 34 margraves, dukes, electors and kings of the House of Wettin who ruled Saxony between 1127 and 1873. Another 60 people - scientists, artists, craftsmen, soldiers, children and farmers - as well as 45 horses and two greyhounds are shown.
