This is a quick DIDO cache with plenty of parking nearby when there is no sport on at the park or the clubrooms aren't in use. At times, this can be a high muggle activity area, so stealth is required! You will need a pen to log your find and be sure to put the cache back exactly as you found it.
NOTE: You DO NOT need to try and open or lift anything to find this cache so please don't try!
Jones Park, comprising 20 acres of land located close to the Cairns CBD in Mann Street was donated to Cairns District Junior Rugby League by Jack and Harry (Henry Ernest) Jones in 1966. Prior to donation, it was used for a long period of time as a piggery and a dairy farm and was originally marshy ground requiring clearing and filling.
