I had my first Picnic here in December 2003. It lasted with difficulties because the council kept replacing notices until 2014. The last entry in the log book was made last year but the cache was no longer active. I have recovered the cache from the stump where it has spent many years. It and its contents are in perfeect condition as you will see when you find them now. The Mullum Trail has been improved and extended in the intervening years and now runs from the Yarra River to past Kalinda Road in Croydon.
The Cache: Count the number of tops of ripples on the roof of the picnic shelter that you should be standing beside = ab.
The cache is at S 37 46. (475 - ab x 2 - 16 ) E 145 11. (362 + ab - 7)
I couldn't find a stump in the area where the cache is now located so it is on the ground.
