MBGA TRIBUTE TO 15 YEARS OF CACHING IN MANITOBA
Manitoba Geocaching Association MBGA is celebrating 15 years of being active in Manitoba. It is also Manitoba's 150th year as a province! It is 20 years since geocaching began! Due to COVID19, we have been unable to celebrate as a group or groups. But, we can place a tribute trail to the caches in our past. We have chosen to honour the most found cache in each year since the MBGA was formed!!! They are placed along The Crow Wing Trail, which is a part of The Great Trail that runs across Canada.
Weather...or not was the top found geocache in 2007, and was found a total of 88 times in the MBGA's third official year of existence. It was hidden in The Forks on June 19, 2006 by Lizardo. Weather...or not was found a total of 1197 times in it's 11 years, ultimately succumbing to it's demise due to lack of maintenance. It was archived in October of 2017.
