MBGA TRIBUTE TO 15 YEARS OF CACHING IN MANITOBA
Manitoba Geocaching Association MBGA is celebrating 15 years of being active in Manitoba. It is also Manitoba's 150th year as a province! It is 20 years since geocaching began! Due to COVID19, we have been unable to celebrate as a group or groups. But, we can place a tribute trail to the caches in our past. We have chosen to honour the most found cache in each year since the MBGA was formed!!! They are placed along The Crow Wing Trail, which is a part of The Great Trail that runs across Canada.
6,000 Days of Geocaching in Manitoba was one of two caches tied for top found cache in 2018. They were both found a total of 153 times in the MBGA's fourteenth official year of existence. It was hidden in Assiniboine Park on July 5, 2017 by Mustash. 6,000 Days of Geocaching in Manitoba was found a total of 280 times before it was archived in May of 2019.
