Treacherous Waters Bonus Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Long Man: I have made two requests for this cache to be maintained and the listing is still disabled. I feel the owner has had sufficient time to carry out the required maintenance, but has failed to do so.

Because of this I'm archiving the cache.

Geocache Description:

Treacherous Waters Bonus

Adventure Lab Bonus Cache

The cache is not at these coordinates. Do not go to this location. You will not find the cache there. And you will get wet.

Had this cache been placed in 1910 (it wasn’t), the coordinates would have led you to the seaward end of St Leonard’s Pier, where you could have enjoyed a spot of ice skating with an unrivalled view.  Nothing remains of this once-glorious pier.

St Leonards Pier in 1910

Today, you’ll need to complete the Treacherous Waters Adventure Lab to solve and claim this bonus cache. This adventure lab will take you on a tour of some of the disasters that have befallen Hastings over its 1200-year history.

After answering each question correctly, collect five clues, and use the formula below to find the cache.

N (A-E)(C-B-A) (C-D+B)E.(D-(A+E))B(C-(B^2)+E)

E (A+B-C) (A/2)(C-D).C(D-A)(E+A)

The container is a small camouflaged plastic tub. Please replace exactly as found, and well out of sight.
