Geocache Description:

My first hide :)

Pensacola is an extremely historic city, however, one of the lesser known historic things about Pensacola is that in the area of Pensacola 5 noteworthy criminals time on the run ended. In order to find the coordinates of the final stage you must answer a question about those criminals

N 30 AB. CDE

W 087 FG. HiJ

In the early days of the 2020 COVID-19 quarantine, the popular streaming site Netflix released Tiger King a docuseries about an 'interesting' character named Joe Exotic, a big cat zoo owner, who was captured for hiring a hitman to kill his rival big cat owner, Carole Baskin. Your task is to research the day of September, 2018 that Joe Exotic was captured accross the bay in Gulf Breeze and add that to 17 to get AB

The next noteworthy criminal caught in Pensacola quite literally comes out of the Wild West, John Wesley Hardin. At the first stage of this cache you will find a historic sign telling of the capture of John Wesley Hardin. What you need to find out from that sign is the day of August 1877 when John Wesley Hardin was captured and subtract that day from 605 to get CDE.

One of the most notorious serial killers of American History, Ted Bundy, was brought to justice thanks to the gut feeling of a Pensacola Police Department officer who apprehended Bundy after a brief foot pursuit in the Brownsville community northwest of downtown. Your task is to research the day in February 1978 when Ted Bundy was caught for the last time and subtract 3 to get FG.

If you ask anyone to name a famous Native American medicine man, chances are they will sey Geronimo. Well Pensacola has a link to him as well, following his war bands surrender to General Nelson Miles, Geronimo was imprisoned at Ft. Pickens where he and his followers made and sold beads to pass the time before they were again moved first to somewhere in Alabama and then to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Your task is to subtract the date (M-D-YY) of when Geronimo surrendered from 9849 to get HIJ

The sign at the posted coordinates is Only for CDE, for the remaining you will have to use the internet

BYOP and the final is in a high muggle (non-geocacher or soon to be geocacher) area. Good luck and enjoy one of the souths hidden gems.
