The land for the St. John's Anglican Church and Cemetery in Bath was donated to the church in 1793, although the first recorded burial was in 1788. At first, family members were responsible for the upkeep of their relatives' plots, but as more burials were added, regular maintenance was organized for the property. Much of the cemetery was restored in the 1980's, but there remain some unidentified stones with illegible inscriptions.
