Geocache Description:


This cache was placed in 2020 during the centennial year of this township. In 1920 Gerrish Township was split in half and the west half became Lyon Township. It was named in honor of Charles Lyon Who owned the Lyon Manor Hotel, which once stood on the west shore of Higgins Lake.
