The Trail along Mullum Mullum Creek has been contructed in stages over many years. Its western end is at the confluence of Mullum Mullum Creek and the Yarra River where it carries on from the end of the Main Yarra Trail. Its eastern end is east of Kalinda Road in Ringwood a trail distance of well over 20 kilometres. It can be accessed at many places along its length.
This is one of the few places along the creek that you can see along the valley for some distance. During WW2 a rifle range was built along this stretch of valley. It was isolated enough to allow this. As a kid it was a big adventure for me to visit the abandoned range.
