Geocache Description:

On the 24/04/23 a replacement cache was put in 13.03m from the original hide at a bearing of 354.30 degrees. This new hide is 18.97 m from the second hide at a bearing of 28.51 degrees. Questions have been changed.

Public transport from the central city hub is via bus 77 whick goes along Princess St, turning off at Andersons Bay Rd and then picking up the motorway, exiting at Green Island and going via Fairfield. It leaves 12 and 42 minutes after the hour until 7:12pm during the week. Less frequently in the evenings and weekend.  It departs from Mosgiel (bus 77) on the hour and half hour, less frequently in the evening and weekend.

This set of two cubicles is located in a small park at the corner of the two main streets of Mosgiel. There is an interesting story about Matamata, the largest of all taniwhas in Maori folklore on a board at the park as well as seating and a picnic table and a public phone booth. The given coordinates should take you to the front of the unisex toilets. The units are mirror images of each other. Outside there is a mural painted on them. There is an absence of flashing lights on the outside to indicate the occupancy, instead, by the door handle there is a lever that indicated green for open and red for in use. Generally people leave the slide doors open once they leave. Inside it is quite bright with white tiles on the walls. There is no mirror so forget about detailed grooming. Two coat hooks are provided as well as a sanitary disposal unit.The ceiling has a sprinkler (for cleaning) as well as a netted light bulb. The toilet bowl is white, probably cermanic instead of the stainless steel that I've been coming across recently. There is a white plastic seat and lid. Hand rails are present for those who need a little assistance in getting seated and then standing afterwards. Both units are wheel chair accessible. The handbasin and accessories (tap) as well as the liquid soap dispenser and hot air blower are all stainless steel. There is no fancy wayof flushing of the toilet by washing your hands or unlocking the door like you find in some other toilet units around the city. instead you have to push the button above the toilet, something probably all of you have to do at home anyway. Again, there is no fancy button to get to the loo paper. Only one roll is visible. Anyway, check on supply before getting seated as you can always pop into the adjacent unit if there is none. Tough luck if both are out. Overall they appearred clean with no mal odour to speak of. On an inside wall you will find a notice with some information about the cleaning cycle, loiter alarm etc. This will provide the necessary information needed to find the nearby cache.

The cache can be found at S45 52. ABC E170 20.DEF  where

= Number of lines of words describing the cleaning cycle x 2

=First digit of the address

C = Number of digits before the address.

D = Number of letters in the word immediatly before "infants"

E  = Number of underlined words - 1

F = Third digit in the address

CHECK SUM  A + B + C + D + E  + F = 29
