Thank you for hunting down this cache on the League City GeoTour! We are excited about this location because this lighthouse is an iconic League City landmark, and provides a stunning backdrop for photos. The structure towers 120-feet over Beacon Island and is listed as a faux lighthouse, first-lit in 1983. Unfortunately, direct access to the lighthouse has been gated to residents of a private community only, but where this cache is located, you will have a good view of the marina and the lighthouse as a backdrop.
