Wohl eines der schönsten Fotomotive in Kirchberg befindet sich im Weiler Bockern. Dort steht der Kalshof der Familie Achrainer. Das Bauernhaus, ein Orginal mit viel Holz, kleinen Fenstern und dem ursprünglichen ‚Gattern‘ bei der Haustür für den Sommer, damit die Hühner nicht hinein rennen, beeindruckt aber vor allem durch den Blumenschmuck. Wetti (Barbara), die Bäurin vom Kalshof, hat ein besonderes Händchen, wenn es um die Blumen geht. Von Mitte Mai bis hinein in den Oktober zieren nicht nur die Balkone verschiedenfarbige Sulfinien und Hängepelargonien, sondern auch vor dem Haus blüht 2-lagig eine Pracht. Wetti bezeichnet die Blumen als ihre Kinder, mit denen sie redet, die sie lobt und auch schimpft. Und wenn man ihr Bewunderung zollt, für die viele Arbeit, Pflege und Stunden des Gießens, dann sagt sie ganz bescheiden: ‚I tua hoit so a bissei, bin jo scho a oite Frau!‘ Das ist eben Wettis Wordl!
Achtung: Der Cache ist nicht beim Kalshof versteckt! Bitte nicht direkt mit dem Auto vor das Bauernhaus fahren. Eine Parkmöglichkeit git es bei der Cahelocation oder gegenüber.

One of the most beautiful foto-subjects in Kirchberg, located in a part called Bockern, is the old farmhouse ‘Kalshof’ run by the family Achrainer. The style of the house shows how farmhouses have been built in older days: lots of wood, small windows and a little gate in front of the entrance-door, which in summer prevented chickens from running into the house. This Kalshof is well known for its beautiful flowers. Wetti, Tyrolean for Barbara, shows each year that she really has a green thumb. She keeps and nurses most of her flowers over the winter in the old stable and puts them out in May. They bloom until October. And they are not only seen on the two balconies but also in front of the house in 2 layers. Wetti grows Sulfinia and Pelargonia in different colors. For her the flowers are her children. She talks to them and even shouts when they are not growing nicely. However if she gets complimented on her wonderful and enormous work, she simply says: ‘I just work a bit here and there because I am an old woman already!’ It is definitely Wettis World
