Geocache Description:

********* CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES *********

**Recommend printing out cache page - scroll down for instructions.**

We've had a 'gas' hiding some 'crappy' caches to bring some 'grunts or grins' to your faces each time a 'log' was revealed!

This is the back story behind our series creation: After Stacey gifted a fake poop geocache to Terri for Christmas, the idea was born, but after attempts to find spots near dog parks or Veterinarian’s offices fell through, the idea was dismissed for awhile. Then a fun, muddy afternoon cache outing and a geopal's backside 'mud streaks,' made us revisit and rethink our 'crappy' idea. Then, of course, the pandemic hit and activities halted, but we were encouraged by geofriends' zoom and diversion caches. Then a lull occured in the summer...so after a ‘poopy’ arts/crafts afternoon, in August 2020, we decided it was time to put out the series. We wanted to help our fellow geocachers get outside, enjoy the healthy sunshine and fresh air, and of course help other geo friends 'up' their smiley numbers.  We hope you've enjoyed our caches.

But now, it's Time to Flush this Series!!

There are 24 numbered Crappy Series caches plus this extra finale, which is a LARGE LETTERBOX Cache!  It's our way of thanking you for searching and providing many funny log entries and several favorite points.  Not only is it a unique size and type of cache, it contains two FTF/STF prizes and over 100 pieces of FREE SWAG related to the theme.  Please take ONE SWAG piece of your choice as a souvenir and gift from us, with no exchange needed.  As with all letterbox hybrid caches, rememember the self inking rubber stamp is not a trade item but intended to stay with the log book in the cache. Please mention in your log if it goes dry or missing.

We've had a 'Craptastic' time!  Thanks, TerriBikes+ and StaceyBassoon

**********HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO***********

To seek this cache, park near and use the posted coordinates to proceed.

First walk NE to the POOL and note on the left wall inside the black gate the "BATHER LOAD."  Change the posted North coordinate decimal digits to the load number for the LAP POOL.

Take Note of the new N coordinate. ___________

Now proceed SW across the lot and down the grassy hill towards the three buildings: Amphitheater, Smoke House and Log Cabin. There is a sign at each structure, but only one mentions this city's name.  To the West coordinate decimal digits, add:  50 if it's mentioned at the Amphitheater, 100 if it's mentioned at the Smoke House, or 150 if it's mentioned at the Log Cabin.

Take note of the new W coordinate. ____________

Proceed N back up hill where you will see a playful sculpture and a Fallen Veterans’ Memorial/flagpole both of which are ESE of the playground equipment. Utilize these to find a distance in feet that you'll use in the final steps. The three digit number of feet you'll need are these digits in order: Number of birds on the sculpture.  Number of swingers on the sculpture. Number of words in quotations on the Veteran’s dedication plaque.

Take note of the number of feet.  __________ ft

Finally, proceed to your new coordinates to start this last step to locate the cache. From here, proceed DUE WEST down a dirt path, the number of FEET you noted.  When you arrive, turn south and proceed uphill about 10-12 paces and search for your LARGE Camoed Cache.

** Keep the camoflage handy to rehide well.  Lift the Lid (slightly heavy outer cover), Lift the Seat (ie-unscrew the top), Look at the Log (you know you do), sign or stamp, and take a souvenir SWAG and your smiley!  Now please carefully return everything to it's original hide appearance for others to enjoy.  Thanks.**
