Bring your hiking boots. You can also easily ride your mountain bike to this cache, with only a minute on foot to the actual site. Its about a 1 mile one way hike from the Trailhead on Weir Court, possibly slightly under a mile from the parking on Oakman Court.
Placed along the Founder's Trail, part of the Carolina Thread Trail. The cache is nearby the detour to the Quarry trail, for the private use of the Mason's Bend community. There are 5 other cache along the Founders Trail which runs along the north side of the Catawba River.
