Bom Sucesso 2.0 Traditional Cache

ATTENTION:

This cache is not designed to be accessible thru the Levada do Bom Sucesso! Please read the waypoints information as access must be done thru the riverbead not from the levada path!

During the autumn and winter seasons please check weather condition before trying to find this geocache as you will have to walk thru the riverbed to achieve ground zero.

At the given coordinates you will have the chance to find a beautiful waterfall that lies over the Ribeira de João Gomes. On the left side of the river margin you can view an old levada supported by rocky walls that used to take water from this point to the population at Bom Sucesso. Since 2015 this trail is not active so the only way to get to the waterfall is by walking along the riverbed.



As satellite reception is bad in this steep valley you cannot rely on the marked coordinates thus use the spoiler images to find the ground zero.
