Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are not for the actual cache.

I was recently asked by famed Danish treasure hunter Ulrik Graversen to help him try to find and recover a hoard of lost gold Kruggerrands. He had narrowed his search to a 40 square Km area in the Baviaanskloof nature conservation area near the town of Patensie, where we stayed. This was part of the famed "Kruger Millions" hidden by then President of the South African Republic Paul Kruger during the South African Boer War.

Our main area of interest were some caves in the Kouga mountain range. With temperatures constantly in the 112-118 Fahrenheit range, the comfort of the caves was incredible. During one of our explorations we found some artifacts. Uffe Nørgaard, chief historian of our team identified them as belonging to the Xhosa, an ancient tribe which migrated South from the Congo.

Below is a copy of a wall painting we found inside the cave. Maybe you can translate it.....maybe it will lead you to hidden treasure.
