La Capanna Tschierva è un rifugio situato a 2583m sul versante meridionale del Piz Tschierva, sopra l'omonimo ghiacciaio.
La prima capanna fu costruita nel 1899 sulla morena, ma a causa dell'erosione continua e dell'arretramento del ghiacciaio, fu abbandonata nel 1951 e ricostruita nella attuale posizione utilizzando pietre naturali della zona, con un successivo ampliamento rivestito di assi di larice nel 2002.
Una volta raggiunto l'Hotel Roseg a piedi, in mountain bike o in carrozza, il rifugio è raggiungibile in circa 2 ore di cammino lungo un sentiero che si mantiene pianeggiante per un breve tratto fino oltre l'Alp Misaun per prendere poi a salire lungo il fianco occidentale del Piz Tschierva. Si supera un tratto ripido con numerosi tornanti ai piedi di una fascia di rocce oltre il quale il sentiero si avvicina alla grande morena laterale destra della Vedretta da Tschierva: una traccia conduce proprio sul filo della morena, mentre il sentiero principale si mantiene prudentemente più a sinistra, nella valletta sottostante il rifugio.
Il rifugio è spesso utilizzato come punto di partenza per la scalata della celeberrima cresta nord del Bernina: la Biancograt, Scala del Cielo. Oltre alla vetta del Bernina (4049m), altre cime che vengono frequentemente scalate dal rifugio sono il Piz Morteratsch (3751m), il Piz Roseg (3937m), il Piz Scerscen (3971m) o il Piz Tschierva (3546m). Oltre a queste destinazioni in vetta, sono possibili le traversate alla Capanna Boval o alla Capanna Coaz.

Chamanna da Tschierva is a refuge located at 2583m on the southern slope of Piz Tschierva, above the homonymous glacier.
The first hut was built in 1899 on the moraine, but due to continuous erosion and the retreat of the glacier, it was abandoned in 1951 and rebuilt in its current position using natural stones from the area, with a subsequent extension covered with larch boards in 2002.
Once you reach the Hotel Roseg on foot, by mountain bike or by carriage, the refuge can be reached in about 2 hours on foot along a path that remains flat for a short distance up beyond Alp Misaun, then it begins to climb up the western flank of Piz Tschierva. After a steep stretch with numerous hairpin bends, the path approaches the large right side moraine of the Vedretta da Tschierva: a track leads right on the edge of the moraine, while the main path remains cautiously more left, in the valley below the refuge.
The refuge is often used as a starting point for climbing the famous northern ridge of the Bernina: the Biancograt. In addition to the Bernina peak (4049m), other peaks that are frequently climbed from the refuge are Piz Morteratsch (3751m), Piz Roseg (3937m), Piz Scerscen (3971m) or Piz Tschierva (3546m). In addition to these top destinations, crossings to Chamanna Boval or Chamanna Coaz are also possible.

Chamanna da Tschierva ist eine Wanderhütte auf einer Höhe von 2583 m ü. M auf der südlichen Seite von Piz Tschierva, über dem gleichnamigen Gletscher.
Die erste Hütte wurde 1899 auf der Moräne gebaut, aber infolge der ständigen Erosion und Rückgang des Gletschers wurde sie 1951 verfallen gelassen und 2002 in derselben Lage mit lokalen Natursteinen wiedergebaut und später mit Lärchenbretter erweitert.
Sobald Sie das Hotel Roseg zu Fuß, mit dem Rad oder mit der Pferdekutsche erreichen, können Sie in 2 Stunden die Hütte durch einen bis über Alp Misaun flachen Pfad erreichen, der dann steiler auf die westliche Seite von Piz Tschierva weitergeht. Nach zahlreichen steilen Kehren kommen sie in der Nähe der Moräne des Vedretta da Tschierva: ein Pfad führt eigentlich auf die Moräne, während der Hauptweg sich vorsichtig links entwickelt, im kleinen Tal unter der Hütte.
Die Hütte ist häufig ein Anfangspunkt, um die berühmte nördliche Seite der Berninagruppe zu klettern: den Biancograt. Außer der Piz Bernina (4049 m ü. M.), andere von hier gekletterten Spitze sind Piz Morteratsch (3751 m ü. M.), Piz Roseg (3937 m ü. M.), Piz Scerscen (3971 m ü. M.) oderr Piz Tschierva (3546 m ü. M.). Außer diese Top-Destinationen sind auch Quergänge zu den Boval-und Coazhütte möglich.
