Hoodoo (n) - hoo·doo | \ ˈhü-(ˌ)dü:
a natural column of rock in western North America often in fantastic form

Come for the commanding views, stay for the rock-hopping fun. For all you purists out there, I openly admit the rock formations up here probably don't count as true hoodoos, but dangit, I think the are absolutely fantastic and fun. When I first came up here looking for the Coyote Cubby cache on top, I couldn't help but spend a long afternoon exploring the various peaks, pillars, and piles of this giant granitic playgound. Hopefully this series of geocaches will encourage you to do the same!
The shortest way to the top takes off from the end of Lost Lane, but there are other trails that will get you here as well. Once you're on top, it's time to explore! Hoodoo Voodoo is simply Mountain Magic by another name. Pack a snack, bring plenty of water, and go have yourself an adventure.
You'll find Hoodoo 2 just to the downhill side of the trail as you work your way up or back down. While not at the top,it does offer delightful views into the valley below. It might take some work to find the best way to the top. Be smart, be safe. Scout your Route.
