Il Teatro "I.Nieri" è posto nella piazza principale della frazione di Ponte a Moriano, a pochi chilometri dal centro storico di Lucca.
Realizzata nel 1930 la struttura è stata utilizzata fino agli anni settanta come cinema. Dopo il suo recupero funzionale avvenuto attraverso un importante intervento di restauro il teatro, che possiede dotazioni d'avanguardia, si pone come punto di riferimento per l'intera valle del Serchio.
La cache
si trova nella zona dietro il teatro, in cui è presente un ampio parcheggio con un altrettanto ampio spazio verde, con tanto di campetto da calcio e pista per il gioco delle bocce. Proprio in quest'ultima struttura è situata la cache, esternamente.
D'estate, la pista è ancora usata dagli anziani del posto che si riuniscono la sera per giocare, generalmente fino alle 22:30, a questo gioco paziente ed antico, come il teatro che gli sta appresso.
