Geocache Description:

No need to go to the posted coordinates as there is nothing there to help you.  The original site has been heavily altered, but the solved coordinates will get you to the site; a quick check using the hint will direct one to the cache/

The Mayan civilization built great cities and magnificent temples which persist to this day in Yucatan, southern Mexico, and northern Guatamala.  However, by the time the Europeans came to the Americas, these cities were abandoned and the jungle had reclaimed them.  It is thoight that prolonged drought caused these cities to be abandoned.  Soory.did not how to correct the numbers of the Mayans but the solution will get you to the general area.  When there, look for a yellow fire hydrant on the corner, then check the hint.  The original site has been heavily modified by a business so the location of the cache has been shifted to a nearby spot.

The Mayans were great geocachers and had a numbering system to locate a geocache.  Can you figure out the location of this geocache using their system.  However, there is a slight modification--their bars below the dots were solid so if there is a gap beneath the dots for a number, just pretend it is solid all the way beneath the dots.

N …  __  .  _._  ..  ..  __

W .  ..  O  …  _...._  ..  ….  _..._

All bars are solid even though there may be a gap beneath the dots.
