La Vecchia Stazione di Trastevere
La vecchia stazione Roma Trastevere è nata nel 1894, in sostituzione della primitiva Roma Porta Portese ed anche in una prospettiva di prosecuzione della linea relativa verso la zona Tuscolana, collegamento peraltro predisposto ma mai realizzato.
Nel 1911, con il riassetto del nodo della zona e la costruzione dell'attuale stazione, essa è stata declassata a scalo merci ed è stata raccordata all'attuale linea per Roma Ostiense con la rampa sovra passante Via Rolli, in funzione fino a fine anni '50, quando il ponte sulla via suddetta è stato demolito.
L'urbanizzazione lungo Viale Trastevere degli anni successivi ha interrotto questo collegamento e di fatto le attività operative dello scalo di Piazza Ippolito Nievo, già ridimensionate prima della 2 ° Guerra Mondiale dall'attivazione dello scalo Roma Littorio, oggi Smistamento. Il suddetto raccordo è sopravvissuto come asta di manovra fino a fine anni '70, dopodiché è stato disarmato.
Attualmente, oltre al vecchio Fabbricato Viaggiatori dell'ex stazione, ha la vecchia rampa del vecchio ponte di Via Rolli, in via di demolizione, ed il terrapieno dell'innesto dell'ex raccordo alla rete FS.
La vecchia stazione Roma Trastevere è stata nel passato sede dell'Istituto di Dinamica Sperimentale RFI. Attualmente è sorvegliata da personale ma sembra in stato di completo disarmo. Anche la locomotiva a vapore esposta come monumento nel suo cortile è stata rimossa.
ISTRUZIONI
La cache deve essere aperta dalla parte bassa, senza manomettere il sistema di ancoraggio, facendo attenzione a sigillare bene l'involucro esterno, così come lo avete trovato.

The old Trastevere Station
The old Roma Trastevere station was born in 1894, replacing the primitive Roma Porta Portese and also with a view to the continuation of the relative line towards the Tuscolana area, a connection which was prepared but never realized.
In 1911, with the rearrangement of the junction of the area and the construction of the current station, it was downgraded to a freight yard and was connected to the current line for Roma Ostiense with the ramp above Via Rolli, in operation until the end of the years. '50, when the bridge on the above street was demolished.
The urbanization along Viale Trastevere in the following years interrupted this connection and in fact the operational activities of the Piazza Ippolito Nievo airport, already resized before the 2nd World War by the activation of the Roma Littorio airport, today Smistamento. The aforementioned fitting survived as a maneuvering rod until the late 1970s, after which it was disarmed.
Currently, in addition to the old Passenger Building of the former station, it has the old ramp of the old bridge in Via Rolli, in the process of being demolished, and the embankment of the graft of the former connection to the FS network.
The old station of Roma Trastevere was in the past the seat of the Institute of Experimental Dynamics RFI. It is currently guarded by personnel but appears to be in a state of complete disarmament. The steam locomotive exhibited as a monument in his courtyard was also removed.
