Rats are very social creatures. They like to be around other rats and even humans if they are raised as a pet. Just like humans, rats have different personalities and can be really outgoing and playful. It’s believed that if a rat loses a friend or is alone too long, it will show signs that it is sad. They will stop eating as much and look bored or nervous. Rats have feelings, too!
